Achieving my Associateship (ABIPP) has been a significant milestone in my photographic journey. It represents not only technical ability, but a consistent body of work, creative vision, and professional standards, something I’ve worked towards for many years.
My journey with photography began back in 1993 with my first film SLR camera while studying Design and Art Direction at Manchester Metropolitan University. From learning darkroom printing to building a career in the creative industry, photography has remained a constant passion. Gaining professional recognition from the BIPP feels like a natural and deeply meaningful step in that journey.
To see my work featured in The Photographer magazine is both humbling and rewarding. It’s an honour to be recognised alongside so many talented professionals, and it motivates me to keep pushing my work forward.
This milestone marks an important chapter but it’s certainly not the end of the story.
