Manchester Bee | Micro Manchester

£25.00£45.00

New series of Micro Manchester Landscapes. Well known and not so well known mini details of the city centre spotted on my walks with my camera.

This is the Manchester Bee. The worker bee was adopted as a motif for Manchester during the Industrial Revolution, at a time when Manchester was taking a leading role in new forms of mass production. Seven bees are included in the crest of the city’s arms which were granted to the Borough of Manchester in 1842.

Micro Manchester comes as a framed print measuring roughly 25x25cm square in a choice of black or white.

We have two types of frames available.

1. Standard – ‘off the shelf ‘ frame
2. Premium – bespoke made to order wooden frames with glass.

Frame images are for illustrative purposes only.
