Manchester Worker Bee Framed Print

£25.00£85.00

The humble Manchester worker bee was adopted as the city’s official emblem in 1842, during the Industrial Revolution. This was a time when Manchester was taking a leading role in new forms of mass production, becoming the world’s first industrial city and the central point of the world’s first global economy.

More recently, it has become a symbol of unity.

This photograph was taken inside Manchester Town Hall. This is an original print by Paul Grogan Photography. Available in two sizes, join the Manchester Bee revolution.
