This was a lovely little photoshoot for Penrith Rugby Union Football Club. As will all semi professional sports clubs in this fine country of ours, they have to diversify and look for revenue streams where they can find them.
Winters Park Conference Centre, part of Penrith Rugby Union Football Club, offers unrivalled facilities for room hire for business and social use in Cumbria and the local area.
Commissioned by Manchester based design and web agency, Think Design, the shoot was part of a website design and build project to help increase the use of the conference facilities. Anyway, I did the well driven drive up the M6 and spent the morning there. I have to say I love it up there, and the drive along eastern side of the Lake District fells is always a treat.
The brief was to shoot the main rooms for the website, showing various types of use - on the day we had local art club, a yoga session and a meeting of local NHS officials. General shots of the car park, the grounds, the gym and many other aspects where covered, all to give the website design the assets needed for to show off the facilities to their best.
I also got to meet the chairman and the leadership team. A great bunch who got to stand outside in the sun, wind and rain for a few minutes so I could get a good head shot for the website.
I love supporting small businesses like this and the shots look fab on the website.
